Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an electronic device, a communication method, and a storage medium. Provided is an electronic device for a base station in a non-terrestrial network. The electronic device comprises a processing circuit and is configured to: determine that uplink coordinated multipoint transmission is enabled with respect to a user equipment (UE) within a serving cell provided by the base station; select at least one coordinated cell from neighbor cells at least on the basis of the geographic position of the UE, the coverage range and the movement information of the serving cell, and the coverage range and the movement information of the neighbor cells, and determine a coordination period of uplink coordinated multipoint transmission; and receive, in the coordination period, the uplink transmission of the UE in coordination with the at least one coordinated cell by means of the serving cell.
