Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide: an electronic device capable of reducing the operations accompanying communication using a solar cell; a communication system, and a method for controlling the electronic device. The electronic device is provided with: a solar cell; a secondary cell charged using the solar cell; and a control circuit for switching alternately between a period for charging from the solar cell to the secondary cell, and a communication period for receiving an optical signal using the solar cell.
