Abstract:

This electronic device comprises a housing, a flexible display, a sensor, a memory, and a processor, wherein the processor may: control, in response to a user input, such that first content, comprising at least one image, is displayed on a first area; determine that the electronic device is in a non-expanded state if the length of the flexible display, measured using the sensor, is a preset first length; determine that the electronic device is in an expanded state if the length of the flexible display, measured using the sensor, is a second length which is longer than the first length; when the electronic device is in the expanded state, control such that the first content is displayed on the first area and a user interface, which corresponds to at least one application, and/or second content, which is the first content having been converted into a form corresponding to a function provided by the at least one application, are displayed on a second area comprising a part of the flexible display that has been pulled out from the housing and is visually exposed; and, in response to a user input, transmit data, corresponding to the first content, to a server connected to the at least one application.
