Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a device and method for controlling a power amplifier in an electronic device. The electronic device comprises at least one antenna, and a power amplifier, wherein the power amplifier comprises: a first amplification circuit for generating a first output signal by amplifying a first signal provided through a first input port; a first transformer; a first switch; a second amplification circuit for generating a second output signal by amplifying a second signal provided through a second input port; a second transformer; a second switch; and a power combiner which generates a third output signal by combining the power of the first output signal provided through the first switch and a second output signal provided through the second switch. Other embodiments may also be possible.
