Abstract:
An electronic device, according to various embodiments of the present invention, comprises: a display; a communication circuit for transmitting/receiving data to/from an external server; a memory for storing the data received via the communication circuit; and a processor for controlling the display, the communication circuit and the memory, wherein the processor may be configured so as to receive, from the external server, a first part of content displayable via the display, and index information of the content, display at least one portion of the first part on a first region of the display, and on the basis of the index information, display, on a second region of the display, a user interface for moving the content, and in case a predetermined user input occurs on the user interface, request, to the external server, for a second part of the content corresponding to the user input, and display at least one portion of the second part on the first region of the display.
