The present application belongs to the technical field of communication devices. Disclosed are an electronic device, and a control method and control apparatus therefor. The disclosed electronic device comprises a first shell, a second shell and a loudspeaker, wherein the first shell and the second shell can move relative to each other; the loudspeaker comprises a loudspeaker main body and a telescopic rear cavity; the loudspeaker main body is arranged in the first shell and can move along with the first shell; and the telescopic rear cavity is connected between the loudspeaker main body and the second shell. The electronic device can be switched between an expanded state and a retracted state along with the relative movement of the first shell and the second shell; when the electronic device is in the expanded state, the telescopic rear cavity is expanded, and the volume of the telescopic rear cavity is a first volume; and when the electronic device is in the retracted state, the telescopic rear cavity is retracted, and the volume of the telescopic rear cavity is a second volume, the first volume being greater than the second volume.
