Abstract:
When electrical power is supplied to an electronic device (30) in contactless fashion by electromagnetic waves from a power supply unit (20), the transmission frequency, which is the frequency of the electromagnetic waves, is detected by a frequency detection unit (330). A functional unit (36) of the electronic device (30) uses the supplied electrical power to perform operations at a driving frequency. In the event that the transmission frequency detected by the frequency detection unit (330) is a frequency that affects operation at the driving frequency in the functional unit (36), the relationship of the transmission frequency and the driving frequency is controlled, for example, by an operation control unit (35). It is therefore possible to synchronize operation at the driving frequency by the functional unit (36) to, for example, the transmission frequency, and to reduce the effect on power supply, for example, the effect of fluctuations of the reference potential caused by the transmitted electromagnetic waves.
