Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device which is installed on a mobile body. The electronic device comprises an electrical field emission unit, an electrical field detection unit, and a control unit. The electrical field emission unit emits an electrical field within a prescribed range. The electrical field detection unit detects the electrical field emitted by the electrical field emission unit. The control unit detects objects within the prescribed range on the basis of changes in the electrical field detected by the electrical field detection unit. The control unit controls the mobile body on the basis of the results of the object detection.
