Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electronic device having a touch screen and a control method therefor. An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a touch screen; a camera configured to photograph a driver; and a control unit for detecting the driver's line of sight using an image received through the camera, and controlling the touch screen such that a predetermined function is performed on the touch screen, on the basis that the driver's line of sight deviates from a predetermined range for a predetermined time or longer, wherein the control unit places restrictions on input functions to the touch screen when the driver's line of sight deviates from the predetermined range for the predetermined time or longer.
