Abstract:
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a memory in which first user identification information and first password information corresponding to the first user identification information are stored; a communication interface; and a processor for controlling the communication interface so that the processor connects to a server through an access point (AP) device on the basis of the first user identification information and the first password information stored in the memory, wherein, if connection to the server through the communication interface does not occur, the processor controls the communication interface so that the electronic device operates in an AP mode, and if second password information is received from an external terminal device while the electronic device operates in the AP mode, the processor controls the communication interface so as to connect to the server through the AP device on the basis of the first user identification information and the second password.
