Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electronic device and a control method thereof, the electronic device comprising a display and a processor which: receives a handwriting input for user authentication; identifies handwriting content and pen attributes of the handwriting input; performs user authentication on the basis of whether the identified handwriting content and pen attributes match the handwriting content and pen attributes of a registered user; and controls a handwriting image to be displayed on the display according to the user authentication-completed handwriting input.
