Abstract:
An electronic device and a controlling method therefor are disclosed. The electronic device and the controlling method therefor of the present invention comprise: a housing for providing a grip portion which is contacted by a plurality of fingers of one hand of a user; a memory disposed in the housing; a sensor unit placed on at least one side of the housing; and a control unit which operates, on the basis of the user's operation acquired through the sensor unit, in one mode among a first mode for storing a content corresponding to a trajectory according to the movement of one end of the housing in the memory and a second mode for performing a particular function pre-configured to correspond to the trajectory. The present invention allows an electronic device to operate in different modes on the basis of the user's operation of the electronic device.
