Abstract:
According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a display; a first sensor; a second sensor; a memory; and a processor electrically connected to the display, the first sensor, the second sensor, and the memory, wherein the processor may be set to acquire a fingerprint image via the first sensor, to measure, via the second sensor, the level of pressure at the time of acquiring the fingerprint image, to analyze the characteristics of a fingerprint at least on the basis of the acquired fingerprint image, to determine a parameter related to the processing of the fingerprint image on the basis of the characteristics of the fingerprint and the level of pressure, to generate fingerprint data on the basis of the characteristics of the fingerprint, the level of pressure and the parameter, and to store same. Other various embodiments, other than the various embodiments disclosed in the present invention, are possible.
