Abstract:
Provided is a method by which an electronic device determines the locations of external devices, wherein the electronic device: receives a trigger signal output from a first location; receives a first chirp signal transmitted from a first external device, among one or more external devices present at a different location than the electronic device, if the trigger signal is received by the first external device after being received by the electronic device; on the basis of the point in time at which the first chirp signal was received, acquires a difference value between the point in time at which the trigger signal was received by the electronic device and the point in time at which the trigger signal was received by the first external device; and determines the location of the first external device on the basis of the difference value.
