Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device and method for estimating a channel on the basis of a fading channel in the electronic device. The electronic device comprises: at least one antenna; a communication circuit; and a processor operatively connected to the at least one antenna and the communication circuit. The processor may: obtain channel characteristics of a reception signal received through the at least one antenna; configure weight and a channel estimation interval for channel estimation on the basis of the channel characteristics of the reception signal; and apply the configured weight to at least one subcarrier included in the configured channel estimation interval from among a plurality of subcarriers included in a reference signal included in the reception signal, so as to estimate a channel of the reception signal. Other embodiments may also be possible.
