Abstract:
An image processing method for an electronic device having a camera module may comprise the operations of: obtaining a first image having a first exposure time, using a first pixel group; obtaining a second image having a second exposure time that is a shorter exposure time than the first exposure time, using a second pixel group; determining whether the difference between the first exposure time and the second exposure time is equal to or greater than a pre-determined threshold; obtaining a third image having a third exposure time, using the second pixel group if it is determined that the difference between the first exposure time and the second exposure time is equal to or greater than the threshold; and generating a high dynamic range (HDR) image by synthesising the first to third images.
