Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide an electronic device having a foldable screen, and a display method. When the foldable screen is in a folded state, it is divided into a main screen and a secondary screen. When the first device only arranged on the main screen is in an operating state, or when an application invoking the first device is in an operating state, if a screen-switch event is detected, then the electronic device is prohibited from switching to a state in which only the secondary screen is displayed in order to avoid the situation in which a user is adjacent to the main screen and the main screen is not displayed at all, so that the means of controlling the display of the electronic device is more consistent with the habits of the user, is more flexible, and is suitable for more usage scenarios.
