Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electronic device having a novelly structured variable capacitance element using a liquid crystal.
[Solution] An electric device having a variable capacitance element includes a dielectric substrate, a high frequency signal line which is formed on the surface of the dielectric substrate, a ground conductor which is formed on the dielectric substrate and faces the high frequency signal line, an upper capacitance electrode which is arranged above the surface of the dielectric substrate and faces the high frequency signal line, and a liquid crystal material for filling the space in which the high frequency signal line and the upper capacitance electrode face each other.
