Abstract:
A method for identifying a force touch with respect to a user's touch input by an electronic device is provided, the method comprising: receiving at least one sample input from a user; acquiring feature information regarding the at least one sample input; acquiring multiple force touch models for identifying a force touch; acquiring feature information regarding at least one touch input, which is included in learning data used for learning of the multiple force touch models; determining a force touch model for identification of a force touch, among the multiple force touch models on the basis of the similarity between the feature information obtained with respect to the multiple force touch models and the feature information regarding the sample input; and identifying the force touch with respect to the user's touch input on the basis of the determined force touch model.
