Abstract:
An electronic device and an information display method. The method comprises: receiving a trigger instruction (S402); obtaining state information of a device to be unlocked (S404); obtaining, according to the state information, an encoded image corresponding to the state information (S406); and displaying the encoded image (S408). The method solves the technical problem in the prior art of a mobile terminal being unable to determine the running state of a device according to display information because the display information of the device is fixed.
