Abstract:
An electronic device of an embodiment is provided with a liquid crystal panel provided with: a first glass substrate; a second glass substrate facing the first glass substrate; a first electrode provided to an inner surface of the first glass substrate; a second electrode provided to an inner surface of the second glass substrate; liquid crystal located between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a sealing portion provided around the liquid crystal. The first electrode has: a first portion corresponding to the liquid crystal; a second portion corresponding to the sealing portion; and a third portion that electrically connects the first portion and the second portion and disconnects the electrical connection between the first portion and the second portion when the second portion of the first electrode has a short-circuit with the second electrode.
