Abstract:
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising a communication circuit and at least one processor operatively coupled to the communication circuit. The at least one processor may be configured to: obtain installation data required for a first external electronic device to register at least one second external electronic device with a server; perform a first onboarding procedure for registering the first external electronic device with the server; after performing the first onboarding procedure, transmit the installation data to the first external electronic device; display an installation guide for onboarding the at least one second external electronic device on the basis of the installation data; and receive, from the server, an onboarding result indicating that the at least one second external electronic device has been onboarded by the first external electronic device.
