Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electronic device and method for adjusting the sensitivity of a keypad. The present invention provides a method for controlling the sensitivity of a keypad by an electronic device, the method comprising the operations of: sensing an input on a key of a keypad; storing at least one piece of position information on a point corresponding to at least one sensed input on the key; analyzing the stored at least one piece of position information so as to determine a boundary for sensing an input on the key; and differently controlling the sensitivity of the keypad according to the determined sensing area.
