Abstract:
According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device may comprise a communication circuit, a memory, and a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit and the memory, wherein the processor is configured to: receive, through the communication circuit, first push information including identification information of an external electronic device from the external electronic device; on the basis of the reception of the first push information, identify whether the identification information of the external electronic device included in the first push information has been stored in the memory; when it is identified that the identification information of the external electronic device has been stored in the memory, automatically execute a function for screen sharing with the external electronic device; generate second push information on the basis of network information of the electronic device for connection with the external electronic device and the identification information of the external electronic device; transmit the generated second push information to the external electronic device through the communication circuit; and perform connection with the external electronic device. In addition to the various embodiments disclosed in the present document, various other embodiments may be possible.
