Abstract:
An electronic device (10) having: a display unit for displaying, on a display (16), a first screen in which a plurality of sub-areas (A, B) are disposed; an acceptance unit for accepting, in units of sub-areas, an instruction input for changing the directions of the sub-areas included in the first screen to a prescribed state; a determination unit for determining whether, in a second screen in which the directions of the sub-areas included in the screen have been changed to the prescribed state according to the instruction input, the layout of the plurality of sub-areas satisfies a prescribed condition; and a screen alteration unit for changing, if the determination results in the prescribed condition are not satisfied, the direction of a prescribed sub-area included in the first screen and being displayed on the display to the prescribed state according to the instruction input and changing the layout of the plurality of sub-areas so as to satisfy the prescribed condition.
