The electronic device includes: a display: and a controller configured to select at least one clipping region from an execution screen having at least one application, configured to extract at least one clipping contents from the at least one clipping region and location information of the at least one clipping region, configured to generate at least one item corresponding to the at least one clipping contents, and configured to display the at least one item on a specific region of the display.
