Abstract:
An electronic device may comprise a communication module, an embedded-subscriber identification module (eSIM) in which at least one profile is stored, and a processor, wherein the processor: when authentication is successful for a first profile among at least one profile stored in the eSIM by accessing a server, receives an authentication token indicating the success of the authentication for the first profile from the server; when communication with a first electronic device is established through the communication module, notify the first electronic device of the first profile as transmittable data; and when transmission of the first profile is requested from the first electronic device, transmit, to the first electronic device, the authentication token by which a second profile corresponding to the first profile can be downloaded from the server.
