Abstract:
In one embodiment, an electronic device for managing computing resources of at least one cloud server for providing a cloud service by using virtual machine instances comprises: a communication unit for receiving, from a client device, at least one request for a service provided by the virtual instances; and a control unit, which selects, on the basis of the request, one of a plurality of modes of the virtual instances for managing the computing resources and controls computing resources allocated to the virtual instances according to the selected mode of the virtual instances, wherein the virtual instances can be generated by the at least one cloud server.
