Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment may include: a memory including a DB for storing a first table in which a unique key value of an image file and photographing date and time information are matched and stored; and a processor. The processor according to an embodiment may be configured to generate, on the basis of identification of a first image file of which metadata is not stored or a second image file of which metadata does not include photographing date and time information, a unique key value for the first image file or the second image file. The processor according to an embodiment may be configured to generate date and time information associated with the first image file or the second image file as photographing date and time information and match the unique key value and the generated photographing and date information and store same in the first table of the DB.
