Abstract:

This invention provides an electronic device (10) that has the following: a touch panel (11); an operation-detecting unit (12) that detects operations via said touch panel (11); and an input-identifying unit (13) that identifies input operations on the basis of the operations detected by the operation-detecting unit (12). The operation-detecting unit (12) detects the following: a first operation in which the touch panel (11) is tapped and that state is maintained; and a second operation in which, with the position and state of the first operation maintained, another position on the touch panel (11) is tapped. When the second operation is detected by the operation-detecting unit (12), the input-identifying unit (13) computes a direction on the basis of the position tapped in the first operation and the position tapped in the second operation and identifies an input operation that has the computed direction information.
