Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electronic device and an operation method therefor, which can comprise: an operation of executing content in a horizontal mode; an operation of checking a holding region of the electronic device; and an operation of changing a reference value for at least one input sensor located in the holding region, and other embodiments are also applicable. Therefore, an erroneous operation, of the electronic device, such as an interruption of content execution, brightness adjustment in a display unit, or volume reduction of acoustic data can be prevented even when a touch key, an illumination sensor, or a speaker is held by a holding hand in a state in which the electronic device, in which the content is being executed in a horizontal mode, is held.
