Abstract:
Provided in various embodiments are an electronic device for performing a frequency conversion of image data by using a single instruction multiple data (SIMD) calculation, and an operating method of an electronic device, the electronic device comprising: a memory in which image data can be stored; and a processor, wherein the processor can be set to acquire the image data from the memory, generate transposed image data in which columns and rows are transposed, and generate, on the basis of at least an SIMD processing method, data corresponding to a frequency domain for the image data by using a Fourier transform (FT) for the transposed image data loaded in the direction corresponding to the rows of the transposed image data. Additional various embodiments are possible.
