Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a display for displaying a screen; a memory; and a processor electrically connected to the display and the memory, wherein the processor acquires sleep data from an external electronic device, determines a sleep phase on the basis of the acquired sleep data, identifies an operation mode of the electronic device associated with the determined sleep phase, and when the operation mode is identified, sets the electronic device to the identified operation mode. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, it is possible to solve the inconveniences of resetting the mode of the electronic device depending on sleep and wake up. In addition, it is possible to prevent the problem of making other people peep into information such as the content of notifications while sleeping or missed calls during absence, or unintentionally leaking important information.
