An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a memory in which a plurality of searchable texts and a plurality of neural network models including a first neural network model and a second neural network model are stored; and a processor which: inputs an input text to the first neural network model so as to identify a first entity among words included in the input text; inputs the identified first entity to the second neural network model so as to locate the identified first entity on a first vector space; obtains at least one text, located adjacent to the identified first entity, among the plurality of searchable texts; identifies at least one text, located adjacent to the input text on a second vector space, among the obtained at least one text; and outputs a search result on the basis of the identified at least one text.
