Abstract:
In an imaging system 1 according to the present invention, polarization filters 12a, 12b transmit light polarized in directions assigned to optical lenses 10a, 20b. An optical path control part 14 causes some light polarized in different directions to overlap. A polarization separation filter 16 transmits light polarized in different directions through each area, and an imaging sensor 18 detects the brightness distribution of the transmitted light. An image processing unit 100 separates the brightness distribution and generates photographed images for each viewpoint. A polarization filter control unit 110 operates the polarization filters 12a, 12b and changes the transmitted light states.
