Abstract:
This invention provides an electronic device having an electroluminescent element which generates light at a high brightness. Specifically, this invention provides an electronic device having, as a charge injection layer and / or charge transport layer, a layer containing a polymer compound having one or more structural units selected from a group consisting of structural units represented by formula (1) and structural units represented by formula (14). (In formula (1), Ar1 represents a prescribed condensed polycyclic aromatic group, R1 represents a prescribed organic group, R2 represents a prescribed organic group, m1 represents an integer 1 or greater, and m2 represents an integer 1 or greater. If there are multiple R1's or R2's, said R1's or R2's may be the same or different.) (In formula (14), Ar2 represents a prescribed condensed polycyclic aromatic group, R6 represents a prescribed organic group, R7 represents a prescribed organic group, m6 represents an integer 1 or greater, and m7 represents an integer 1 or greater. If there are multiple R6's or R7's, said R6's or R7's may be the same or different.)
