The present invention provides an electronic device that becomes an electroluminescence element that generates light at a high brightness. Specifically, the present invention provides an electronic device that has, as a charge introduction layer and/or charge transfer layer, a layer comprising a polymer compound having one or more structural units selected from the group consisting of structural units represented by formula (1) and structural units represented by formula (14). (In formula (1), R1 is a specific monovalent organic group, R2 is a specific monovalent organic group, and m2 is an integer between 1 and 3. When there is a plurality of R2, each can be the same or different. The hydrogen atoms in formula (1) can be substituted by substitution groups other than R1 and R2.) (In formula (14), R6 is a specific monovalent organic group, R7 is a specific monovalent organic group, and m7 is an integer between 0 and 3. When there is a plurality of R7, each can be the same or different. The hydrogen atoms in formula (14) can be substituted by substitution groups other than R6 and R7.)
