Abstract:
An electronic device and a power supply method for a smart power amplifier, which device and method relate to the technical field of terminals. The electronic device comprises a battery, a switching circuit, a boosting circuit, a smart power amplifier, a speaker and a controller. The battery is connected to a first end of the switching circuit, a second end of the switching circuit is connected to an input end of the smart power amplifier, a third end of the switching circuit is connected to an input end of the boosting circuit, an output end of the boosting circuit is connected to the input end of the smart power amplifier, and an output end of the smart power amplifier is connected to the speaker. The boosting circuit performs boosting conversion on a voltage which is output by the battery. When the output voltage of the battery is greater than or equal to a preset voltage, the controller controls the first end and the second end of the switching circuit to communicate with each other; and when the output voltage of the battery is less than the preset voltage, the controller controls the first end and the third end of the switching circuit to communicate with each other, wherein the preset voltage is greater than the lowest working voltage of the smart power amplifier. By using the solution, when the output voltage of a battery is relatively low, the occurrence of noise or interruption when audio is played in a speaker mode can be avoided.
