Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises: an audio module; an application processor; a communication module including a communication processor and an audio subsystem; and a switch that can connect the audio module with one of the application processor and the communication module, wherein the application processor may be configured to: on the basis of having acquired a first audio signal from an external electronic device via the communication module while a first audio signal processing path is configured, provide, to the audio module, a second audio signal obtained by processing at least a portion of the first audio signal; on the basis of detecting an event for configuring a second audio signal processing path, provide, to the communication module, a control command for configuring the second audio signal processing path; control the switch to connect the communication module and the audio module; and control a state of the application processor to a sleep state, and the communication processor may be configured to, on the basis of having acquired a third audio signal from the external electronic device while the second audio signal processing path is configured, provide, to the audio module, a fourth audio signal obtained by processing at least a portion of the third audio signal by using the audio subsystem. Other embodiments may also be possible.
