Abstract:
An electronic device according to one embodiment comprises an image sensor and at least one processor operatively connected to the image sensor. The at least one processor can be configured to: generate, on the basis of at least some of a plurality of image frames acquired from the image sensor, a motion map that identifies at least some areas of the plurality of image frames as a stationary zone or a motion zone; set, on the basis of the generated motion map, a first exposure time corresponding to the motion zone and a second exposure time corresponding to the stationary zone; acquire, from the image sensor, a first image corresponding to the first exposure time and a second image corresponding to the second exposure time; and combine the acquired first image and second image on the basis of the motion map so as to generate a composite image. Other various embodiments are possible.
