Abstract:
An electronic device, in various embodiments, comprises: a touch-sensitive display; a processor operatively connected to the display; and a memory operatively connected to the processor. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: provide, via the display, a permission setting screen enabling a user to select data that an application is allowed to access from among data stored in the memory; receive, from the application, a read request for the data stored in the memory; select, on the basis of an access permission policy set by using the permission setting screen, data to be provided to the application from among the data stored in the memory; and provide the application with the selected data as a response to the read request.
