Abstract:
Provided are an electronic device for providing a video call service, and a control method thereof. The present electronic device includes: a communication interface; a display; a memory; and at least one processor operatively connected to the communication interface, the display, and the memory, wherein when entering a content sharing mode for sharing a content during a video call with a plurality participants, the at least one processor controls the display to display a shared content on a main area and display an image received from a terminal device corresponding to one participant from among the plurality of participants on a sub area. When at least one of a voice and a gesture of a first participant among the plurality of participants is detected, the at least one processor controls the display to display a first image received from a terminal device corresponding to the first participant on the main area on the basis of at least one of the detected voice and gesture.
