Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device comprises at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor may be configured to: camp on a first cell; after camping on the first cell, perform a procedure for registering on a first core network; in a state of having been registered on the first core network, identify the occurrence of an event requiring cell selection; identify a core network corresponding to the event that has occurred; identify a core network supported by each of at least one second cell; identify a measurement result of a reference signal respectively associated with at least one third cell that supports the core network corresponding to the event that has occurred, among the at least one second cell; and camp on a fourth cell identified from among the at least one third cell on the basis of the measurement result.
