Abstract:
This electronic device is provided with: an image display device having an image display surface; and a translucent cover member disposed such that at least a portion thereof faces the image display surface. The electronic device is characterized in that: the translucent cover member includes a single-crystal body having alumina (Al2O3) as a main component thereof; and the single-crystal body has a transmittance (%) of less than 92% with respect to light having a wavelength of 260 nm, and a transmittance (%) of less than 92% with respect to light having a wavelength of 550 nm.
