Abstract:
According to an electronic device and an operating method of the electronic device, according to various embodiments, the electronic device comprises: a communication circuit for transmitting or receiving data to or from a network through cellular communication; an application processor; and a communication processor, wherein the communication processor may be configured to: receive, from the application processor, information about at least one specified application and information about a first delay time required for the specified application to perform at least one specified service; determine whether to identify an average of delay times having occurred while transmitting data related to the specified service, on the basis of a result of comparing a delay time occurring while transmitting the data related to the specified service through at least one data radio bearer (DRB) with a first time determined on the basis of the first delay time; identify the average of the delay times on the basis of determining to identify the average; and determine whether to transmit a measurement report including the average of the delay times and information about the DRB, on the basis of whether the average satisfies a specified condition.
