Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electronic device for a vehicle, which comprises: a power supply unit for supplying power; an interface unit for receiving high definition (HD) map data of a specified area via a communication device from a server; and a processor for, in a state where the power is supplied, continuously generating electronic horizon data for the specified area, on the basis of the HD map data, wherein electronic horizon data of different formats is generated according to whether a preconfigured destination exists.
