Abstract:
An electronic device comprises: a display unit (13); a panel (11); a tactile presentation unit (12) for vibrating the touch surface of the panel (11); and a control unit (16) for, when detecting contact with a tactile presentation region on the touch surface corresponding to predetermined characters displayed on the display unit (13), driving the tactile presentation unit (12) on the basis of tactile presentation information associated with the predetermined characters so that a tactile sense is presented to a contacting object that is in contact with the tactile presentation region.
