Abstract:
In this electronic device, a cover (20) is formed of a material that transmits at least ultraviolet rays, and a black print (25) that does not transmit ultraviolet rays is applied to the peripheral edge of the cover (20). A liquid-leakage prevention recess (32) that permits an ultraviolet curing adhesive (27) to collect therein is formed at a cover attachment part (31) to face the peripheral edge of the cover (20). Emitted ultraviolet rays reflect off of the surface of the liquid-leakage prevention recess (32) and reach beyond the black print (25), up to the area between the rear surface of the peripheral edge of the cover (20) and the cover attachment part (31), thereby curing the ultraviolet curing adhesive (27) thereat. This configuration allows the adhesive strength of the cover to be maintained thereby while attaining a narrow frame for a display unit.
