Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device (100) enabling satisfactory imaging. The electronic device comprises a liquid crystal panel (PNL) and a camera (1a, 1b). The liquid crystal panel has a display area (DA), an incident light control area (PCA), and an emitted light control area. The camera has a light incident surface and a light source. The liquid crystal panel is configured to selectively transmit visible light emitted from the light source in the emitted light control area and to selectively transmit visible light from the outside so that the visible light from the outside is allowed to enter the camera in the incident light control area.
