Abstract:
This invention comprises a member (10) for mounting that has a surface (10a), an electronic component (20) that is disposed on the surface (10a) of the member (10) for mounting and has a cuboid external shape and a plurality of electrodes (22) formed on a surface (202) opposing the surface (10a), solder (30) that is disposed between the electrodes (22) of the electronic component (20) and the member (10) for mounting and electrically connects and mechanically couples the electrodes (22) of the electronic component (20) and the member (10) for mounting, and a side fill (40) that is disposed around the solder (30) and mechanically couples the electronic component (20) and the member (10) for mounting. Further, the side fill (40) is disposed such that the corners of the electronic component (20) on the reverse side from the member (10) for mounting are exposed.
